Oil Condition Monitoring

Oil Condition Monitoring is the process of monitoring a parameter or condition in machinery in order to identify whether there is a significant change, which is often indicative of a developing fault. Often with lube or hydraulic oil systems, any water content gaining access to the system is generally seen as fatal for the equipment.

In order to protect your equipment and systems, you either have to periodically replace the oil (which can be expensive and time consuming) or you monitor the oil water content, only replacing the oil when you need to.
